    Fuel pump storage

Well i am building a motor and starting to get some of the parts lined up and my buddy that is helping me out with building this thing has a Anderson Big Pump External Fuel Pump Kit and i wont be needing to install this for a while. Is there any way i can store this so it wont go bad? I was thinking maybe pour fuel in it and change it out every month?
