    03' cobra vs 2010 ss

    Last night me and my buddy met up at my house to head down to mineral beach for the car cruise... he just bought a new mullet cruiser w/ the ss package and the car isnt to shabby... but anyways we were comming down where brownsville ext. and rt88 meet in finleyville as we were maken that right .... i noticed as i was simply put putting he got on it.... and i was like non of this crazyness.... so as he was getting on it ... and i was in 2nd and slammed the gas down and kept our distance from each other and as i was shifting from 2nd to third i started to pull from him... now im not a betting man...but id have to say since he said he was was on it ... and hes a damn good driver "Lou you know this guy... "mac daddy" black on black older camed camaro/ jj automotive"... that with a 5 year old cobra thats pretty stock... that im going to say that for what it was... my snake just bit his a$$ lol


    Ps: he said he is wanting to do hit the strip with me....after its all broken in.... in a week hes put 450 miles on it... so it cant take to long haha ill keep you posted guys on future wins

    lol it is! he sold his bike to get this he was supposed to get it in aug but he ended up getting a phone call last thurs to say it was in.

    Nice kill.

    I saw a 2010 Mustang, new Challenger, and new Camaro all parked next to each other a few weeks ago. Looks wise, I think the Challenger is the best. Performance wise, if we're talking base model V8s the Camaro wins. The Mustang seems to be the best balance.

    mehhh... i wouldn't be so quick to jump on a forum and try to claim a win on a car that wasn't even techincally racing.... may just be me, but if i was going to say i beat a car it would need to be a fair start, not some silly from a roll each of you at your own who knows what rpm range in what gear.... Not trying to start a fight, just simply saying... congrats on lets say.. keeping ahead, because i think you and I both know you were definately on standby just waiting for him to try something :)

    well mac said he hasnt jumped on it since he owned it and top speed was lil over 70 he said... so expecting him to jump on it was kinda iffy but he said he wants to race. from a dead stop.. i asked him to go and race and he said he was wanting to break it in..... so thats fine. but im for sure racen him and ill have a flip to capture the victory! haha

    I'd be very interested to see how the new SS stacks up against your car... Since I sold my T/A, I really haven't paid any attention to what the new cars are doing, but I think i read somewhere that with a CAI and exhaust, the new SS makes around 390rwhp... So, that would put it right in the same arena as a mostly stock Cobra like yours... so unless there's a drastic difference in driver skill, i'd be interested to see how they stack up... i get a feeling they should be very close to each other...
