I'll be there with my girls in our red '90 LX 5.0.
I'm also running the American Car Show at the PVGP in Schenley Park on Saturday, and the combined car show on Sunday. C'mon down folks - you'll never have more fun at a show!!!
Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. Registration for the weekend of 7/18 & 7/19 is $25. Proceeds go to charity. And you'll love watching the crazy guys in the vintage racecars whizzing around the racecourse!!!
If you make it to Schenley this weekend, just come to the American show ( up by the clubhouse ) and ask for Ron George. I'd love to meet ya!! I'll have my green '66 "Shelby" coupe and my '90 LX there. Bring your cars down - we'd love to have them in the show!!!
The forecast looks great so far for the entire week - my fingers are crossed!!!

The waterfront cruise sounds cool! I've never been to it, maybe I can interest Pinkstang67 in going and we can come out for it.
Gotsvt / fullthrottle336 are rollin' down from north hills between 3-4pm on Tuesday. If anyone wants to cruise feel free to join in (send pm for time/location). Pvgp at waterfront is always a fun time.
guess there is one downtown tonight. finishing a customer's truck who helps out a bit with grand prix looking pretty good this year weather wise.
The downtown stuff today ( Wed ) was a parade this morning and cars on display at USX, PPG, etc. There isn't a cruise or anything like they had last night at the Waterfront. The next event is the HUGE show in Schenley on Saturday.
Damn forecast just changed again...30% chance of showers on Saturday. I hope it stays dry or I'll be one soggy dude!!
Last night was awesome at the Waterfront. I think I saw some SCS guys - looked like MineralRob's GT - and a nice Calypso LX hatch with 10th anniversary Cobra rims on it ( I saw you wave as we were leaving - but the kids were tired and we had a 45 minute drive ahead of us!! ). Also a nice green Cobra with a Kenne Bell on it.
Also saw an amazing Skyline GT-R - black - absolutely gorgeous.
Everyone should put this cruise on their list for next year!!

Ron,
Thanks for a great job hosting the American Cars at the PVGP and I really appreciated the help emptying my cooler. Hic.
I won't come close to naming everything noteworthy in the American Car show, but for those of you not there, you missed:
-1964 289 Shelby Cobra... the real deal.
-an early '70s Pantera
-1986 Mustang GT with less than 30,000 miles... really perfect red/gray hatchback
-1991 Saleen Convertible that was Steve's car.
-Several newer Saleens
-Ron's Paxton Coupe which is just cartoon character fast
-A Kenne Bell charged late model GT pushing 900hp
-A new SVT Raptor, courtesy of FoMoCo.
-2010 SHO Taurus
-perhaps another 35-40 Mustangs?
-15 T-birds, mostly 55-57s
Among the non-Fords, how about a 600 cubic inch Hemi nestled in a '69 Dodge Charger that runs 9s? Or a 1974 Porsche 911 that ran in the original IROC races? Perhaps an Ferrari Enzo would catch your eye? How about 150+ Porsches or 220+ BMWs including Z8s?
Lastly, I'm not crazy about MGs or Corvettes, but the MGB with the LS1 6-speed in it was pretty cool!
Remember the PVGP next year. It costs $25 to bring your car, but if you're cheap you can walk in for free! (The $25 all goes to charity).
Greg - Since you used to run the show before handing the reins to me, you know it is a lot of work. But it is more than worth it, as I get to see / hear / smell tons of great cars, meet lots of great people, raise money for a wonderful group of charities, hang out with your boys, and ...help you empty your cooler!!!! The show is growing every year, and I hope to be able to offer my services for a bunch more years.
Oh - and you forgot to mention Adam's '76 Ford truck - just your average sleeper 2wd short bed packing a 428 Cobra Jet and a 4-speed!!!
