Oil question.

Just wanted to get everyones opinions on what brand/weight oil they use and what you guys think is the best.


and i've had a couple mixed answers on this topic, but can you switch back to conventional motor oil after already running synthetic through it?..

If you run synthetic and then switch back it will most likely leak/burn oil

Remember full synthetic find leaks easier then regular or semi syn. I use semi oil with what ford recommends I think 5w20? And I use motorcraft filters. And don't bother buying mobile 1 or royal purple. Waste of money on a stock car.

i use whatever factory calls for. if it calls for synthetic then run synthetic. if regular oil then use regular. i get the oil additive guys calling here trying to get me to use their crap. i use what factory calls for since they developed it that way for reason

I run mobil 1 in my cars and never had any engine probs, Knock on wood.

5w30 moble 1 extended life and it has been the best oil I have used hands down. I also drive 90miles a day so I have had a chance to try a few different brands. lol

I use it in the following:
2003 Cobra 17k
2004 Mustang gt 30k
98 F150 4.6 142k

I run 5w20 Royal Purple. Actually use Royal Purple in trans and rear also.
