yeah i watched a show on spikeTV that tested all different engines for their actual fly wheel horsepower... the 428 cobra jet came in at around 600, the 454 was right around 725, and somehow a 440 was up at like 820 or something.. ha dodge can't build anything but a strong engine.. minus the 318. the 302 or even a 305 would walk all over a POS 318... im not a dodge guy.

^^ it was confusion over what fwhp stood for. Im so used to dealing with sport compacts where it means front wheel horsepower that it didn't occur to me it could also mean flywheel horsepower.

If it's a stroked 502 with a mean HCI I could see 800 fwhp.. but at the wheels? NO way. This is a built to the hilt 540 that I wish I had for my chevelle....

Then again it's over 13k cuz of that damn dart block.... and assembly costs..
