    Crashed my new stang tonight:(

So tonight i was comin home and went around a bend and got on it too much and had traction control off and started spinnin out. First i was goin straight for a fence on the left side of the road so i turned to the right and did a 180 into someones yard unfourtunatley there was a ditch in their yard so i went into it and it cracked my bumper and knocked my mach1 lip off and knocked the foglight loose but it still works. haha it got my car real muddy right after i washed it too haha. i guess the bright side is i might get a cobra bumper now and thatl look nice heres some pics...

X2. Get a little more familiar with your car before you take that traction control off in the twisties again. These things will snap around and bite even a good driver in the ass.

    Man that sucks!!

I remember not long after I got mine, I was being "ricer" like, and drifted right into a guard rail..hit it at about 25 or so..just broke the tabs off the ft of the bumper cover and scratched my bumper up really bad..looked like shit, but the ex fixed that went she paint strippered the car..got a free paint job.. thanks babe!! hahahaha!!..

but really, just be careful man..things can get ugly real quick, the cars got some power and you need to respect it before you get yourself hurt!! be safe!!

yeh it is my first car and ive been babyin it alot cuz its like my prized possesion so ive only put like 10-15miles on it so far so that hasnt been enough time to really get the feel of it cuz im used to drivin my dads civic si and its FWD so im not really used to the whole spinnin ' ur ass out deal lol. oh well im just really really glad im alright and i didnt hit anything major like a tree that was like a foot away from my door haha. And thankfully it was just minor stuff thats easy to fix. looks like im gonna calm it down a lil bit and maybe keep the TC on more often too haha. oh well live and learn i guess...

Just don't skip the learning part. i know alot of people who miss that important step. lol

As far as the yard goes, where was it? Are we talking residential or some field that just happens to be in front of a house? I live out in BFE and there's tire tracks ALL the time in my "yard" from people in your exact situation, but it doesn't really matter. i just smooth it out with a shovel and call it good. Probably happens 5 or 6 times a year and every time my first thought is "haha looks like someone had a rough night"

haha this all took place in the beginning of my neighborhood cuz i was comin home from my friends house that lives in my neighborhood cuz he wanted to check out the car. il prob just call in the morning and say who i am and that i left the skid marks in their yard cuz i swerved off the road to miss a dog or some BS story like that lol and il just say if theres anything u want me to do to fix it or whatever il be glad to do it. i just dont want them to report it cuz thatd suck cuz then my insurance would skyrocket.

If it's in your neighborhood I'd drive down and talk to the guy who owns the house. Introduce yourself and tell him the marks are from you. If he's cool, tell him straight up what happened. You never know, maybe he'll be a mustang enthusiast too! lol

Hey man, it's a small world. I stopped one time and asked these dudes to use the porta pottty they had by their garage and when i came out they were all around my car looking it up and down. Turns out they had 2 foxes, a 67 fast back, an SN95 cobra and a new edge GT all in the same garage. Oh yeh, they were pretty cool dudes too
