What do you consider a small hit of n20? If you're thinking 75 or 100 then I think it would be fine as long as the fuel is there.
My stock motor held 16 psi of boost for two years. gmkillrs held more than that.
Youd be fine on a 100 shot if tuned safely.

just because that motor has hypereutectic pistons doesn't mean it can't hold cylinder pressure.you could run a 200 shot on that motor cause I did it for a season of racing in my boss's old car that has a truck 302 in it and sprayed that thing with 4-5 bottles a week. They won't take alot of detonation like a forged would but a forged isn't gonan take a tone either. You can do what you want with that motor if it is tuned properly. 16 psi of boost is alot more than what a 150 shot would be and because it was tuned properly it worked just fine

Do you wanna take the chance? When and if it blows do you have the money to fix it? If so.
Go for it!!!!
thats a maybe, and no. lol
how often do you really plan on using it? Or are you just going to put it in just to have and use very sparingly?

not sure, depends on how many ricers there are
I remember putting juice on my old 90. I said the same thing about the small shot. I tried the 75hp hit once and came home to put the 125 jets in right after, something to think about.
Also don't forget that a complete n2o setup the right way would caost around 1k. With a bottle heater, remote opener, bottle blanket, and purge on top of the price of the kit.
i started with a 75 which was alright, but once i got the new fuel pump in bumped it up to 125, which is nice. ive heard a lot of place on a stock 5.0, it can take 150 but thats pretty much pushin it. i dont use mine much, and ive had zero problems. just make sure its suckin enough gas down. its fun, i just wouldnt use it on the streets a lot. like scott said, if you gonna do that then just dump the money into the motor.
As was already said, it's all in the tune. If the tune is off it'll live a short life.
don't be scared of nitrous i sprayed my stock 94 gt bottom end with 150 almost everyday and never had a problem just make sure you are all tuned up and have enough fuel before you spray it i have a zex kit forsale if you want a dry kit never had a problem with it
