    Car washing

After reading the newest members post about never driving his car in bad weather got me thinking. How often do you wash your car? It would matter greatly if it was a daily driver, weekend cruiser or quarter mile runner. Mine is drivin only on nice days, so a california duster and some spray detailer take care of just about anything that gets on it. Its been washed twice in 2 years. Once to get rid of the wetsanding and once when I drove it the first time in 2 years.

I Could wash my black junk daily and still be behind the dirt. It generally gets washed before going to the track, then needs washed after, Add in TnT and general dirt and I hate my car.... I do drive this car a lot. I hate to say daily, but I take it to work most days I can. It's always dirty.

With work and college, it's hard to find time to properly detail it. That's what the weekends are for I guess.

i drive my car pretty much every day in the summer, rain or shine. but it never sees winter. i wash it once a week and wax every 2 weeks. No reason a daily driver can't look as good as a garage kept car, just takes a lot more work

No winter or bad weather driving but almost a DD in good weather.

My car being black I clean it, (wipe off with a wet rag), after every time I drive it. Once a week it gets a complete wash, and about once a month it gets waxed. I know it sounds anal to wipe it off every day, but I just hate to see it dirty. Usually it's a fine layer of dust but on a black car it shows everything.

+1!! Since I've been laid off, in between looking for a job and doing some side work, I find myself washing/waxing the car a lot more often. At least 2-3 times a week.

I cant vote because it all depends.

I try not to get my car dirty and if it says clean I just use detail spray before I take it out and before I put the cover back on it. However if I get stuck in rain I wash it before it gettins covered back up. I have only clay bared the car a few times but like I said it doesnt get dirty.

Well my stang is a DD. I do my best to keep it clean and take it to car shows. I wash it so much my friends think im going to wash the paint off of it. Its alot harder to keep DD looking nice. I wish I had the space and money to keep it in the garage. But then again i believe that a car is ment to be driven and enjoyed.:)

I drive my T-Bird to and from shows. So I usually just wipe it down with ultra finish. It's been qiute a few years since it's been washed. Although my dd's get washed at least once a week, I can't stand to leave my cars dirty.
