    Bad run of luck

    My luck as of late hasn't ben good.

    I was laid off a month ago after 19+ years in a company.

    This morning my dad passed away.

    What's next a swarm of bees...

    just keep your head up bout your dad though, my dad passed in 04 and i thought life was over,but i kept my head up and everything is ok

    I know the job situation too, we have been struggling since March. I go in every day thinking it could be my last.

    Wow. So sorry to hear. Jobs come and go, but losing a parent is an experience that is heartwrenching. It WILL get easier with time, but it will take ALOT of time.
