Sounds good to me. Don't know how much you'll lose through the drivetrain. Whats your compression? Not sure how perfectly matching my combo is, but mine put down 443 hp to the wheels on Tims mustang dyno. I want to line up a day to put it on Mike's Dynojet for comparative runs.

Very nice, should be an awesome street/strip motor.
Your numbers sounds right where I'd expect.
How high are you spinning it?

    Those #'s are o.k.

What made you go hyd. over solid on the cam?

What kinda compression are you at with those 72cc heads?

I'm guessing you have a big dome piston in there?

Ever consider going with Pro-Systems Carb?

I'd say that looks pretty good.

Those HP series carbs are excellent for street/strip.

Can't go wrong with a hydraulic deal for a street car either - it's nice to turn the key and go and it's WAY easier on valve train parts.

What rpm did it make max hp?

Actually the cam was a custom I did with COMP ;), Peak power was at 5800rpm, peak torque was 5200rpm. Made 460ftlbs at 3800, 500ft at 5000rpms....it should be very fast in a fox chassis, the curves are very nice and it builds tq and holds it. Corey will have a hard time keeping tires and trannies alive.

It has a 750cfm carb, which I actually jetted down a little I was prepared to go either way but the 750 worked perfect. I find most guys go too large with the cylinder head and carb, too much reading in these magazines....it all depends on the exact combo and usage. Even ran 38 degrees total timing on the 93 octane.

The Stuska engine dyno I use is known to be a little lower then some of the other brands, but we also had a 2" header with a 4" collector on it. The 1-3/4" headers that will be used will show even more gains in HP and TQ. All and all I was very happy with the numbers being hyd roller, solid roller would have made more but it would have required a little more maintenence.

gmkiller, since it uses a 69 block with the shorter deck, and the older blocks are not known to be exactly straight or square, it has a 72cc chamber head with a 4cc flat top piston, compression is 10.65:1 ;) Just had to play with CH of the pistons and such to acheive what I wanted, o deck.

    NMRA D/R 10108, 360ci, F1R Blow Through, stuffed in a 25.5 SFI Chassis.

02 F350 7.3L, Diablo Pred, Bully Dog Intake, 4" Stainless all the way back...24lbs of boost.
