I weighed my car today

2990 running on fumes
full interior minus the spare and jack, miscellaneous metal interior brackets and i deleted the arm rest.

what do you guys tip the scales at?

brian lets go to that place across from get-go in west mifflin that sells stones and sh it. they have a huge scale for when you load your truck up with stuff

with out me in it. I gutted all the metal stuff behind the console and the panel right beneath the steering wheel, the factory amp. just little stuff. I thought it was pretty good weigh in.

Theres a scale in my town at an agway haha

This was 4 corner weights before the 6 point roll bar, without me, and near empty on fuel. Car races right at 3200 #'s with me in it and a full load of fuel.

My cobra just scaled in at exactly 3200lbs without me. That was with full interior, no spare/jack/trunk carpet, 1/4 tank of fuel, all of my MM suspension pieces, smog and cat delete, and aluminum heads.

Make freinds with someone that races roundy round, road course, etc. A buddy of mine borrows these from a dirt track guy h eknows when he is setting up a new chassis. When the scales are at his place I run out and weigh my junk.

Had mine weighed by IHRA techs at PRP during the ProAm race 2 years ago. Weighed in at 3135lbs with me in car and 1/4 tank fuel. Should be a few pounds lighter but not more than 15lbs

As soon as the weather is decent, gonna run out to Bentleyville truck stop to try to weigh mine. Girl said it costs $9, but sometimes the scales can't read it (to light) and theres no charge. Was gonna go to a local scrap dealer, but was told they weigh in increments of 10#. Was hoping for something tighter.
