my 2 friends passed away a little over a year ago at the kinzua dam
vince and stephen pitcher drowned. stevie had jumped off the bridge into the water as a stunt and vince saw him thrashing in the water and swam out to save him. he gave his life trying his best to protect his younger brother.
their mother has been raising money for quite some time now and had finally raised enough to get an architect to draw up the plans for a skate park dedicated in their name for the community. if everything goes according to plan it will be built on memorial drive in dormont. there have been such fundraisers as haircuts, donation boxes around the area, local bands playing concerts, and even gwar put on a tribute concert in their name at mr smalls and is raffling off the lead singers ORIGINAL stage mask.
and now she is in the top 10 for a 25,000 award for the 2009 markham mark of distinction award. each email can vote once a day. our community would appreciate the votes.
vince and steve used to bring home tickets and fines for skating and biking. she is trying to give any other child the safe, appropriate environment for them to do this in.
