on a 97 GT.....how difficult is it to convert from an auto to a 5 speed...and will a 5 speed off of a 5.0 work..(bell housing line up?, etc.)

first off welcome to the site. the bellhousing wont work. my buddy has a 97 gt with 64k miles that he wrecked and may be pating out
thanks for the quick response...I would be interested in the 5 speed+all pedals,etc....necessary to make the switch.. if you could get him in touch w/ me or me to get in touch w/ him...that would be great....I'm located in Mt. Pleasant.
