We have a junk yard who is buying them after we drain out the oil then run the engine with sodium silicate thru the fuel system, which is essentially liquid glass. Yikes!

Looks like the GOV pulled the plug on the "cash for clunkers" program and SCREWED the dealers stuck with the cars!

We have not damaged a single car yet and have no plans to until funding that has been approved comes thru.

Don't get me wrong I didn't vote for "this government" but the intentions here were all good, just not executed well. These liberal knuckle heads are going to spend the money anyway why not to a cause that will help Automakers/Dealerships and help take a small step towards becoming less dependent on people that hate us?

Just heard that dealers were making buyers sign a contract that IF the Government defaulted on the "Cash For Clunkers" cash the buyer would be responsible for the 4500.00 Or return the car..

This is getting better by the second!

I can't see the car coming back. I think Obama would have to put the money up.

We don't need any more bailout while the rest of the country pays for creditors greed and mistakes!!!

I'm all for the U.S. automakers staying around to help keep the economy strong, but the cash for clunkers deal ALSO went to oversees automakers..

Who all is getting a stimulus package again? I didn't realize it was for foreign countries as well.

I heard a radio add this morning about Courtesy Suzuki promoting the cash for clunkers deal and a brand new car for $10k.

If I'm not mistaken the engine is the main thing that can never go back on the road. The vehicles can be parted out but never sold as complete and never ever retitled.
