    Exclamation White Face Gauge problem..Help!!

I bought a kit off of ebay,(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...#ht_1752wt_944) that gives you white faced gauge layovers..the cluster in my car when i bought it has a gauge layover that has flames on it, gay i know thats why im changing it..anyways, im trying to install these, but if i do over top of my current layover, the flames will bleed through the new gauges(parts of the numbers/letters are blueish)..I want it to be white all behind..IF i paint the flames say with model paint or something white, will this give me dim spots throughout the cluster when the lights are on? What should I do, possibly cut out the old parts (jus the gauges themselves) and leave the rest there(check engine light, seat belt, ect ect)? I'm so pissed off, what i thought would be totally simple turns out to be extremely hard and very precise..

another idea, would be to take a piece of computer paper, make a template of the gauge and glue it down first?..possibly still bleed through?

anyone got some advice? And no, my stock gauges arent behind the layover on it now, stupid pricks took it off..thanks.

the way im looking at it now, it looks as if im screwed
