    backed into some woman's car at primanti's with my truck. very little damage, but of course cracked her aftermarket tail light and took some paint off, just minor stuff but still going to set me back a few bucks

    eh I'm not too worried about it, no real damage, none to my truck, just hoping the bill for repairs is not too much so I can still get my tlok and axles, then its just a matter of saving up the cash for the labor and time to drop her off to you and throw it all together

    thats why I'm keeping it na, cause I dont have the extra cash for forced induction, and I'm guessing on a lil more cash for the fuel system andwiring end of things

    6500 couldn't even buy the bottom end and with this car i wouldn't even take out to race a vette

    $6500 is the approximate price that 94SVTcobra wants to spend on his motor... so somethingclever was stating that there's no way he'd build a 408/blower setup on $6500... it had nothing to do with either of your cars

    no 6500 was money in the car that beat your buddies vette and then he looked at my mods and said there is no way i could of built that 408 blower motor for that read the entire thing bud

    6500 he wont spend nearly that much on a 393 swap you could do it for about 4000 or less anyway

    I thought the foxbody was the one listed in his sig that runs 9.70's....

    If it was a different fox car that beat the vette...then I suck at teh interweb. :)

    oh no man, please dont take it the wrong way... i didnt mean anything harsh, i do have a slight problem putting my toughts on the screen, so people tend to tak ethings i say the wrong way.. I am real favorable of the 393 because of the comp height, rod length, and stroke, they have a decent ratio and super strong wrist pin placement..IMO...

    Rod to stroke ratio is a total internet myth........
    There is Zero reason to do a 393 over a 408 unless you desire less H.P. for the same money......


    And for anybody who wishs to dispute the rod to stroke ratio meaning nothing, i can provide tons of real world examples that are fact.
