    Holy Expensive Ammo

Bought a Glock model 29 10mm Auto today. Ammo is up to 30 bucks a box for 20 Federal Hydra-shoks.

I didnt realize it went up that much.

10mm has always been expensive. It really hasn't gone up as much as all the other ammo on the market.

    Ah i see.

Not too many companies are even making it any more. I see Federal, Hornady, Cor Bon, and Winchester but all in limited types.

Ed, What brand of ammo does your 10 prefer?

Personal protection ammo is always way higher. But i mean other then a few test shots to see how the pattern is with it you dont shoot it all the time. Maybe look into buying bulk ammo, I usually buy 2000 rounds or more at a time from natchez and get a great deal

Oh I know those are pricey. My deer gun is a Weatherby 30-378 Weatherby magnum. A box of those was 78 dollars like 2 years ago. I don't wat to know what they are now.

when getting into expensive shells its best to just by a die and load yourself!!! then you can toy with what works best for you.....

$40 for my 45-70 rounds 20 shots. My 44 mags arent much cheaper, and I wish I could actually find ammo for my .380 auto.

I've been known to have an assault rifle or two riding along with me from time to time.

BTW Billy, don't feel too bad, 120 rounds of .50 BMG cost me $430.

Looking at picking up a WASR10 myself at some point.
My Cousin just got a 50 BMG and I can wait to see it in action. Looks like a bad MOFO.
