    Buying out of state

    I am going to be going to look at a car in WV and have all intentions of buying, is there anything special that needs to be done since it out of state? Anything extra i need to take? How would i get a pa plate? If it helps any i will be trailering it back to pa

    ive done many outta state titles. all you need to do is go to your local notary when you get back and its no different then doing a normal title transfer except the other person not being there. get a copy of their drivers license, some notarys require it. make sure they sign and print on the title under the seller

    that bout sums it up... the many cars ive owned outta state this is all i did plus bill of sale.

    ^^^^ i cover my azz with a bill of sale all the time.. hell even if i sell other stuff (ex:parts, odds & ends non-car realted) i get a signed bos.
