1986 Mustang GT 100%Stock/Unmolested Exc. Cond.

I am putting up for sale my 1986 Mustang GT. Part of me wants to sell this car and part of me does not. Only reason i am listing it is because my wife cannot drive stick. She had an 06 that we sold and am considering looking at something else for her, but this would have to go first. I have owned the car for 2 years. I am the 4th owner. Good friend of mine was the 3rd owner and bought it in 05. I have alot of documentation on the car including build sheet, window sticker, and receipts all the way back to 1988. You can see that all replacement parts have been Ford/Motorcraft stuff. The car is 100% stock, no modifications. It is a 5 spd car with ac, manual windows and locks. The car does have 109,500 miles on it currently, but you would never know. Before purchasing this car i was looking for a low mile one owner car. Ended up buying this mustang because it was in better shape and more well maintained and documented than most of the low mile cars I looked at. It still has most of the original paint. The gray trim and body below trim has been repainted in the past. The body below the moldings was repainted around 1995 so there has been some touch up done to the car just from stone chips from being driven. All of the interior is original and in great shape. Does have one small crack in dash cover by speaker. Engine and tranny run perfectly. I have had the car on a couple trips recently. The underside of the car is undercoated. I have replaced some parts over the past two years including fuel filter, plugs, cap/rotor, intake gasket, rear main, water pump, hoses, thermostat, heater core, new goodyear tires, shocks/struts, quad shocks, sway bar bushings, coolant flush, and converted ac over to 134(blows cold). All these parts have less than 5000 miles on them. Car is in very nice shape for a 23 yr old car that has been driven, not just sitting somewhere in a garage. The second owner put most of the miles on the car traveling to MCA shows where the car was shown.I'm Asking $7500 but am somewhat negotiable. I have tons of pics so if you would like to see anything specific please let me know and i can email them to you. If you have any questions, please ask. I may also POSSIBLY consider partial trades for another mustang with an auto. Only putting the posibility out there because that is what my wife and I will eventually end up looking for if I sell this one. When I bought this car our deal was to look for an auto so she could drive it but couldn't pass up this car because of the originality and cleanliness of the car.

    Thank You
    Kerry

A couple people on some other boards have contacted me asking about a carfax report. I went ahead and ran one for any of those interested.

I have had people ask various questions as far as if spare/jack are with car, how exhaust is, etc. Went out and took some more pics tonight and figured i would post up a few to answer some of the questions. If you want to see pics of anything else inpaticular i have alot of others and can take more if needed.

Car is no longer for sale.

I potentially had the car sold to a member on 4eyed pride. As things got closer to reality of selling the car I realized I just can't do it, just to damn attached to it. Main reason of selling was to find an auto for the wife. I know how long I looked before getting the car trying to find something clean enough for me, I know it will be even harder narrowing it down to an auto. Ended up talking to a good friend tonight who is a ford tech and it turns out he has everything i need to do an auto swap on this car. I was reluctant to do that because the car is so perfectly correct but I think that is the route i am going to go. He did an auto/manual swap on a 92 with only 38,000 miles and has all the auto just sitting there so I can get a real sweet deal on parts/install. I hate to back out of the deal when we have been going back and forth for so long, but I realize I just can't part with the car.
