Finally got the PIG to the track!

i too went up and was highly and i mean HIGHLY disappointed in my times!!!! for a pretty stock 5.0 i thought i would be running in the low 15's well to my surprise i was in the high 15's for my best with a redlight(grrrr) and 16.2 with a crappy .278 light.... my buddy talked me into manually shifting the auto and i was so affraid of blowing something up i only ran a 17.3,...... my 60 foot for the 15.9 was 2.29 with a top speed of 88mph..... man i need to get this thing worked on!!! my dakota ran a 15.3 with mudders on it about 5 yrs ago and it only had a 318 in it... i figured the stang would do alot better,,..... my car is slow and im jacked!!!!!!

dont be too upset about it, those 94/95 5.0s are pigs bone stock. they are heavy and just dont perform all that well. also, your auto is murdering your power. you need to go 5 speed and a ton of weight reduction and practice and itll improve a lot

lol that was the gray car....he has a black fox, 408 stroker with blower + spray

not sure if he was spraying last night, but if the belt wouldnt have shredded itself that car would see very low 9's if not high 8's.

oh it is badass. its f**kin sick lol. yes it has stickers but the parts from all the companies are on the car...keith's actually real cool and one of my good friends but I guess not everyone got the chance to get to know him.

acutally for bracket racing having an auto is an advantage due to the consistancy factor. i dont know how much im gonna gut it as of yet.. i know i want new gears, air intake, shift kit , exhaust, tuner chip(cheap fix) and i will be in the low 14s

Nice numbers! I have a brand new (never installed) J&M non-adjustable upper I'll make you a deal on. I am going with the adjustable with my one piece drive shaft, I can bring it to Summit tomorrow......

X2 My dads 95 is a perfect example...14.07 @ 98ish? with a very short list of bolt ons and drag radials.

i have to get this motor in tune before i really do anything.... i definately thought it would run better then this but oh well this guy who is gonna install my 410s said once i get the air intake, gears, and shift kit i should be in the 14s...
