Progressive is who i go through for bike insurance. always been the cheapest and never had a issue with it.. But as far as a r-titled bike just look for engine and frame damage. most is just fairing and stupid crap, and look at the forks and wheels closely also.

they have tons of bikes that are either r-titled, or have been wrecked.... most of the ones i've seen from there are not r-titled, but have some rash on them... so you can either ride it with a little rash until you get better at riding, or you can purchase some new plastics ...

Holy Cows. I just paid my ins. for the year. $327.

But, I'm old and stupid. I guess you pay.

Seriously, try State Farm. If anybody (or you) in your family has auto with them, motocycle is cheaper and they just go by cc no matter what model the bike is. Also, take the MSF Course if you can. You get 10% or more off your insurance with verification.

Patience is your best bet... I waited almost 2 years to get my first sportbike... finally came across a guy that was on disability and needed the cash - bad! i searched and searched until i found something in my price range...

Yeh, I go through spurts where I feel like I HAVE to have one, then my better judgement kicks in. Then my one buddy rides his over and WHABAM! The itch hits me again. lol

It's not really the price of the bike that'll kill me. It's all insurance. And i really don't want to get stuck with a 5000k loan and no bike.
