If it was an auto sotck one or even one with lil bolt-ons i say close race.. If he had a six speed and mods, sorry but your 306 wouldnt of been that close... a h/c/i 6spd ls1 would easily keep up with a termy

And a h/c/i fox will easily wipe up an LS1

i slapped a h/c/i on a 306 and ran a best of 12.1x @ 110. it has mph'd as high as 114. pretty stout for just a slap together motor. i know there is 11's in the car too as i only ran a 16" et street and i didnt hook the best. curious as to how well it responds to the s trim and built rearend/suspension that is on the car now(if i ever get the damn thing tuned and to the track).

out of the box tfs tw heads(milled about .20 with no port work), tfs 2 cam, ported edelbrock upper and lower. all stock suspension,no subframes or anything. car is not gutted at all with all interior

wow stock suspension too thats just awesome that you ran that. i'd like to get some trickflow or AFR heads eventually and also get rid of that damn B cam. just need to make some money haha

i have ran tfs cams in the last couple cars i built and they all ran very well. i put a tfs stage 1 cam in a stock motor and had the heads milled a little and it ran low 13's with 3.55 gears. i threw a zex dry kit(100 shot) on it and believe it or not the car went 12.2x @ 108. i couldnt believe it
