Below $30 for six hours is a great deal. I really don't get into racing enough to turn my nose up at prp, but as said before people everywhere bitch about them.

I completly understand for those car owners that need the prep for consistancy. All I hear now is how small the t&t crowd is anymore.

a week or two ago when i want it was packed, a real good turnout, and people wouldve gotten to run more but of course a few cars broke on the track. Id love to go to other tracks but PRP is what we've got.

is the track closed for the night?

I'd say that's a safe bet. If it rains in Juarez, Mexico the week before you can pretty much bank on PRP being closed.

For the Pro-Am race, the "racers" come in in bigger set-up's, RV's, big trailers, some rigs, etc. They set them up in the pit spots, etc. Those guys will come in Thursday night to be ready for Friday. So thursday, they are parking racers :D

Why would anybody with any sense go there? I heard it's downhill and the starting line guy will actually push a vehicle in conjunction with the particpant launching to aid in 60' times. In addition, they encapsulate the track with an invisible state of the art computer controlled atmosphere and stategically place nitrous nozzles until the 330' mark so that the car ingests the nitrous and then the mph falls off after the 330' but the e.t. is tremendous. Try a real track live Beaver Springs.

Anyone else going to run at the NMRA event?
And on a side note, can I borrow someone's plate and registration?

    Thanks for explaining Bob

I'm gonna hit up Quaker this saterday and see what kinda chaos I can cause on their Pro class :D Not sure if I'm legal for the street class at Quaker. Haven't raced there in 8 years. Last time I sorta blew stuff up.

ummm... NMRA Columbus is labor day weekend ;) (that or I missed a joke).

Larry and I are planning to go as of now. I will be running the brackets.

I'm towing out so you could use mine but I doubt you are going to blow my plate past tech for true street ....

There is a footbrake or soemthing class in between I think. Bad timing, but the UMTR is there the next weekend.

In either case, i'm out. I leave Saturday for 3 weeks in China :(

Ed, I think Street Legal at QCR is equivalent to Trophy here.
They do have Footbrake and Pro (equivalent to Modified) that you could run.
