I would REALLY watch that, and look at their contract carefully. They more or less have the price structure that you need ot get a certain number of guys to make it almost affordable, but they add per car above a certain count, then cap the number of cars. Effectively, the price stays the same per person. Also, try to actually pin them down on a date .......

On Edit - here is the link to their track rental flyer. Weekdays 11-4, and it works out to $100.00 a car no matter how you slice it.....

$100 a car is beat... you could rent out Norwalk for less then that when they still did rentals.

Yeah but you usually get numerous runs in, not the typical 3-4. Might be tempting for some people I guess.

I am confused by your above post but it takes me an hour to get to Quaker or and hour to get to PRP from where I am in the middle of the city.

Quaker usually works out to be ~2 tenths slower then PRP but the facilities are nicer and the track owners arent assholes.

Plus 6 hours and full prep... plus running 2 lanes (wtf is with that crap at PRP, single lane only rentals?)

it would take me about 2 hours to get to quaker city bc it takes me 2.5 to get to summit and the canfield exit is about 35 minutes before summit maybe more
wtf is single lane exactly^ what is the point and i would like to meet the person who made that flier

PRP alo charged a fee if you oil down the track on a track rental and it is some crazy number from what I remember. I'll continue to go to Cecil County Dragway twice a year for $50/day track rentals like I have for years. They prep the hell out of the track, and you can run some great times there in the early/late season.

When the Gentile's owned Keystone track rentals were plentiful and affordable. I used to go to at least one a year there for a very reasonable fee.

Everywhere you go, all you do is hear bitching about PRP.... but nothing is going to change as long as people continue to go there and pay the money......

Maybe they should start charging the Slick cars that oil down the track every Test N Tune so I don't have to hear the track owner crying about how much clean up supplies cost him again.

Breakage is part of racing and as far as I am concerned those supplies are included in my entry fee. T&T and track rental days should be the most profitable days for tracks as their are no payouts to be had so all entry fees go straight to the facility.

How far is Mason Dixon from the 'burgh? It seems to be a bit faster than PRP from what I recall.
