Taking my daughter for her drivers test today!

Wish us luck guys! Ashley's going for her liscence today, we have to be there at 12:15 this afternoon. I think I'm more nervous for her than she is. If she passes I still want to drive with her a little more before she goes off on her own. I'm really going to be a nervous wreck the first time does go out on her own. Aww parenthood!!! :)

LOL... i thought the driver's test was easy... i remember the exam at the Indiana mall giving you a space to parallel park in that someone could fit a Mack truck into... and then they just took you in a small circle on the roads around the mall...

However, they do try to be a$$holes sometimes... several of my friends growing up did theirs in New Kensington, and the driving instructor would tell them to turn the wrong way down a 1-way street, just to see if they would do it.... i knew several kids that failed from listening to the guy... personally, if he was going to fail me for being an asshole like that, i'd have given him a real reason to fail me! :D

I was warned about that, and they tried to get me to go through a stop sign without stopping, I stopped thankfully! When I took mine it was on a course behind the building, they didn't take me on the road like they do today.

Haha!! No T-Bird for a VERY long time!! She's even said she doesn't want to drive it. I don't know if she's afraid of it, or what would happen if she even put a scratch on it. LOL!!

Well guys we're back, we had to wait 2 hours for them to get to her. She didn't make it past the parallel parking. The bad thing is it's my fault, I was teaching her in our driveway and the way you pull in the driver's side is facing the house, so I had her backing in driver's side first. It never occured to me that it was backwards. I'm such an idiot!! If we can get an appointment for next week we'll try this again. I'm more upset over this than she is, of course it doesn't help that it's my fault.

Thanks Clark, I just can't believe I didn't realize I was showing her wrong. We just set up her next test, sept. first. That'll give her some practice time, I'll make sure and show her the right way this time then it's on her to pass.
