    Angry Foreclosure Agency Scam

Well, I'm in the search of finding a rent to own home here shortly, so I decided to take a look today on craigslist. I found one local add about cheap foreclosures(Foreclosure Agency) , you pay a years worth of rent, and at the end of that year you either could sign for the rest and your rent you previously paid would be a down payment; or you could not sign and have no payments and move out. I figured it'd be a little easier that way for me. Well, I call this company, and they only wanted about $1.95 for the list of adds within a 50 mile radius of here. Shipping was like $4.00 and some change. I figured alright no big deal, gave them my credit card number and all of my contact info. Right as he was confirming the information, after the credit card he hung up/disconnected. Now I was like alright, this is gonna' be a pain in the ass. I was already at the CPU so I went on google and typed in Foreclosure Agency(to try their username/password they gave me), and in the suggestions box it said foreclosureagency.com scam :mad1: I was instantly furious right then. I try their website, and it wouldn't load, tried on 3 different browsers. so I call one of the numbers back, and after 15 mins of waiting for a supervisor, he tells me I need to call the Membership Help number. I proceed to call that other number, and finally got someone that said they will cancel it their self. He said I will not be charged for anything at all. I have both of the Agents names/agent #'s as well. I've been checking my online acct. but, would you cancel your account? I don't know if they will or will not take the money, they say it's canceled but it doesnt seem trustworthy considering what has happened to other people... What do you guys think?

Most cc company's won't make you pay for these things if you explain, bitch, or whatever you gotta do. Give it a try and good luck.

I'd be on the phone with your credit card company right now instead of asking about it here. Explain the situation to them now and take their advice before you have a real mess on your hands. Make sure you document who you talk to at the CC company and what advice they give you.
