    maf to carbed car. how can it be done?

    im tired of the efi and the damn computer fighting me all the time so i decided to go to carburator set up. what do i need to do and change in order to change my efi motor into carbed. any help?

    I'm not sure, but my buddy would be interested in your MAF wiring and if you are swapping the computer, that too. If you want to sell it.

    you will need to change out the fuel pump, its better to get a carbed fuel tank and mount a holley pump back by the tank, you wil have to get an intake, carb, msd dizzy/box..

    i just watched an episode of two guys garage(i think that what it was) and they did a thing where they took a efi ls1 and converted it to a carb set up. they dynoed the thing and just by the conversion it upd the hp by like 50-60 then with a bit more tuning they had it up over 100 hp... kinda cool actually!

    Use the stock fuel pumps and lines just have to run a bypass regulator around 6 psi. you can find a fitting that will screw in to the regulator then flare the factory lines keep the coolant temp wire and oil pressure wire you can trace them clear to the main harness connector and the wiring for the alternator and can the rest. Run a msd box or mallory
    In the process of putting together a 408w backed by a tko 600 and a 456 gear.

    it was horsepower... I watched that too.. dam them ls1s
