considering a new job....

well a little breifing......i have turned down 2 job offers in the past couple weeks, and got an unexpected raise again at work....but here is my dilema....a buddy of mine called me and asked me to come work for him and his dad's company. doing similar to what i do now but more in depth as they are more of an engineering firm so id also get certified in all kinds of testing and get to do field work. id like all that....plus it would be a $4,000 a year pay raise. im torn because i like my job, boss been great to me always. but the other job the 4k would help tremendously and it is about a 30 minute drive closer than i am now.

so would you up and leave or consider a friendship and possible continuing education more important than 4k a year raise to start out.

Sounds like a no brainer dude! Closer to home, more money and you'll be subjected to new experiences and certifications that will only benefit you further! I say go for it, or just stay where you're at and you'll eventually start to feel a familiar feeling
