what exactly happened?
Relay stuck on the nitrous so car ran on it. Car aint as bad as it looks. Will be back together for next year.only faster.Originally Posted by scott5

Scott i could actually put another carb and wiring harness on the car and it will run.Trust i was all over it the next day. only fire damage.

A wire harness for my gen would help but thinking make it a all out race car and screw it make my own wiring harness at this point only used three wire off the original harness.

my ankels are killing me from running in flip flops to ur car with my fire extinguisher... i thought i was having a bad day untill ur car burnt up good luck with the rebuild..
Wow thank you so much cause trust me it seemed a hour i was fighting the fire by myself. I owe u a fire extiguisher. Really thanks thanks to all that helped cause it really could have been a total loss but looking like maybe i can put it back together for about 7000 or less i hope.

It happened at the ET Shack at the end of the track, not in the staging lanes.
There was just an older lady working the shack.
No one even realized what was going on until they announced there was a car on fire over the PA System, then people hopped in cars/ran with whatever help they could provide. I saw whitey run for his "blueberry" and haul ass up there
there are 2 or 3 videos of the incident that I know of that someone took, they are linked on pittspeed but didn't post here
