stall problem

so i just added a bbk 75mm throttle body and a bbk cai, now every so often the car stalls out. i think its running lean, how can i fix his problem??? (01 gt 4.6 motor)

I had both on my old 01 and never had an issue. I would check for vacuum leaks first and then see if your idle air control valve is on all the way. More than likely its just one of the hoses on your intake tube is not on all the way.

sometimes you may have to clear the keep alive memory when swapping out idle related parts, just take off your pos battery terminal and hit the brakes a few times to drain any voltage out of the system and then hook the batt cables back up and see how it does..

It could be several different things causing your issue but the first place to start is BBK. They make some of the worse aftermarket performance products for the Ford Mustangs, you get what you pay for! Check for the obvious to include your TB blade set screw and TPS voltage...

What year is your car? Did the BBK come with a big brass screw/plug that you turn to get the car to idle? I just put one of these on my car and it FIXED all of my issues. I had to turn that screw about 6 full turns, though, from its factory setting.
