i have always thought the biggest problem is people not knowing how to take critisism.... We, as adults should have the mental capacity to look at critisism and try to learn from it!!! I also think this site is so local and "down home" that we do need to think about the things we post about other people, I know that i have been
guilty of it a time or two, I was banned once for personaly bashing someone, but you know what, I appoligized to that person and learned something from it... Lastly, i have always felt that people need to be a bit bigger than their basher and stop crying about how bad their @#ssy hurts, man up, and take it on the chin... If something is true, well then its true, but that still doesnt give me or you the right to tell the whole world that their sister is a whore and they can't drive their own car to save their life...

I dissagree with this. If there is something you want to argue about, go to the BS section. If you dont want to read it, dont. This is not rocket science. Nobody is twisting your arm to read the "drama". You just cant resist temptation. HAHAHAH

I can agree with that Rob. It always seems to be the same people starting trouble though, and those are the one we don't need around the site. I am all for a little ribbing in good fun, but it gets out of control way too fast around here.

Yeah, Dennis, it does get out of hand. I agree with that. Hence the BS thread. But now this will shortly turn into a "why am I being singled out" or "am I the person(s) in mention?"

Get rid of the street racing section/kills.....as well as any street racing discussions. Nothing wrong with talking about a "meeting place" though.



Seems like "trash talk" is a big cause of problems.....the thread about the bbq and track rental COULD HAVE turned ugly with the trash talk but luckily didn't. I think it was a nice gesture to put info about the rental and I wish I could've went...but trash talk doesn't really have any place in it.


And as a general observation and opinion - mustangs are cheap/affordable....even for young people. With young people you can get alot more immaturity. It's just the nature of the beast (managing a mustang board). Now, I will go on teh viper boards and do some reading...if they seem to have the same problems I'll take it back. :) LOL

Well I think we know what's been going on. People act like jackasses and we can either let them get away with it or ban them.

You need to decide the future of the site yourself Lou. If you have a problem banning people for acting stupid let me or someone else do it. I don't care if people like it or not. If you decide to clean the site up and someone does not like it, oh well, life sucks, get a helmet.

Let me know if you want me to take out the trash, I have no problem keeping this site a nice place to hang out. I will not lose a moments sleep if I need to remove a problem child.

Why not? Tis is not a nazi site. It keeps traffic atleast. Somebody to BS with. Without being able to BS, I think this place would probably die a slow painful death.

Because the BS post really isn't BS'ing persay....it's just a bunch of dumb comments from the same 3-4 people....1-liners talking about what they did last night or what they're going to do tomorrow....stuff that the people they're talking to already know becuase they were there...just seems like a waste of space.

I view BS'ing as actual conversation.....not the pointless rhetoric that fills 90% of that thread.

i think that all of us being adults (well 95%) you should be able to take what comes your way, whether its true or not, and if you feel its unfair or not true defend yourself....you will have this bs on and off forums...seems to me like the people that take much offense to this are the ones in life that will always be sore losers...and lou i do not know you but i understand your concern in the matter and you want what is best for the site and trying to keep everyone happy....but like somone mentioned before no one is making anyone read certin threads, there are a few dramatic ones for some peoples taste (but quite entertaing) but most on here are informational...its just like TV you hate the damn realty shows but have to watch bc of all the drama on the commericals advertising

It’s a great site; I would hate to see it go away.

We have a broad demographic range and sometimes those demographics don’t mix well for whatever reason - Lets call it human nature with a shot of testosterone (or estrogen for the ladies in the group) – We have a lot of people with a lot of knowledge and a lot of new people that not all want to admit they don’t know everything.

So, we get some friction and difference of opinion. Which by nature should be a good healthy thing BUT there are always the ricestangers, you know who they are…Heck you may be one yourself reading this, there is no telling anything to them. You could tell them that their pants were on fire but they wouldn’t believe you until they smelled their bacon cooking and then complain that you didn’t warn them about the dangers of fire. By the time they wake up and smell the coffee, the pot will be empty.

I dont hang around the BS sections too often I kind of lurk around, I'm in the dark about alot of things that are going on........but I still browse through sometimes.

I still have to say this site is a MUCH better site that others I've been on. one site there was a certain group of people that would bash anyones thread that they didnt know or like.
