i am an electrical engineer and all of my drawings and schematics have to have capital letters. thats why it in all caps all of the time

Rob, the way I interpret it is probably like 99% of the board does too. The 1st thing I got when I signed on this morning was a PM from Timmy bitching about your post. You should stay away from anything he has on here, good will intended or not.

I don't really contribute to much here, but I do enjoy cruising through each day, sometimes a few times. I can say I'm here for Mustang oriented topics and topics Mustang owners/fans are interested in. I don't mind the Tbirds, F150s, Crown Vics, etc. I do scan through the on and off topic stuff, but honestly most of the political, e thug, etc crap just ain't my bag. I, for the most part, keep my mouth shut and let the fools remove all doubt that they're fools. Just like if I'm at Giant Eagle and some asshat is making a scene, I do my best not to get involved but I may laugh at the situation.

With all that said I would not be opposed to having the NON car related stuff PLUS classified be a semi private section. Sign up for an acct and it's automatic 90 days probation, once you're past 90 days and have NO violations you can ask to be sponsored for the private sections. Sponsors could be mods or those who the mods select. Now I realize this could create an animosity towards those who are sponsors, so cut up on a sponsor and you're gone, period. Again, not that I matter much in all this, just my two cents.

Yes u would,LS1Tech has lots of stang,vipers & other models on that site,95% of them are all great PPL! some aint!

this is a good idea but leave the joined date so people know how long you have been on a part of the site. another idea is to put up a "classifieds feedback area".

I cannot believe that this web site had come to this! We are all suppose be adults and are typing little comments like children. I sold my mustang and I still log on to this site because I have intentions of buying another one and enjoy it and would hope that I may find one one here. I have not made any friends on here and do not intend to do so. I do not attend the little events and have never done so. Lou, I have met you and do consider you a nice guy. You treated me well when I was purchasing my parts. To be honest with you guys, you sound like a bunch of little girls on here. That is my two cents from someone who just likes Mustangs. I have no desire to meet any of you and do not give a shit what any of you do. Anyone that I have met on here has been by my chosing and that is that. Grow up and act like adults not some little school children braggin about their cars or who they raced or whatever. This site should be used for knowledge sharing and people that enjoy being involved with Mustangs/Fox body type cars. Offended? Who cares.

I am a member of several Diesel sites, There is some bickering on there mainly the one site that has all three on it Ford,Chevy and dodge. But, people pull their heads out of their ass's and stop. Even some venders get into it. It is human nature and no way around a lil drama. Its the competitive spirit that turns us into raging morons. Like the heated discussion on their about a 700hp 6.4 ford. Took 2 stages of nitrous to do it but the man did it. Sure there was some remarks but most said congratz and alot were dodge and chevy guys. Me personaly I wouldn't come on here bragging 1000hp and run high 9's in a track car. Kudos to him for having the hp. Not trying to be a dick saying that either. I know a guy who goes faster with a heavy car. I'm by no means anyones favorite guy on here nor do I drive a mustang "Anymore". Though I still love reading about hp numbers and seeing the cars. Lets just settle down. I have done my best to do so. Props to Lou and venders for putting up with any shit.

I think that there should be a pm to whoever is causing a problem and if it happens again ban him...

The turn off posts thing would also work and keep the join date like rick said and if there is a possible way to have a feedback score below the username to state whether he is a good seller or buyer it could say +1 or -1 to help out with the selling and buying of items.

And the board of mods would also be a good idea.. I am pretty sure that there are only 3 mods? i could be wrong, but this site has been getting alot to handle especially for only three people. Maybe add or one two mods?

Comp Diesel has a "Thanks" button you can push on someones post and it shows the thanks to this person kinda what ya would call good Rep. I dunno if this forum is capable of that kind of option but, it is a nice feature.

Due to work I havent been on much so forgive me if Im a little lost. I read though the thread and really didnt know things were getting bad. I have always thought that Lou and the mods do a hell of a job and when a problem popped up they are quick to take care of it. I feel that the rules are the rules and you have always been up front about them. Everyone on here has a choice to follow them or not but if you dont be adult enough to accept the consequences. In the past if I wasnt sure if something was allowed I pmed Lou and asked. I met alot of great people on the site and hate to see this sort of thing happen.

Lou, is there a way that you can add an infraction system? That way if someone is getting out of line, you and the moderators can hit them with an infraction that tells them where and why they're outta line? It's kinda like a speeding ticket IMO. If someone is always pushing their luck, they're gonna get caught. One ticket (infraction) will straighten some people up for a while, but some people just won't give a crap and they'll lose their license (membership/posting ability).

I know that it's tough to pin a problem on just one post in a lot of cases, but it would serve its purpose fairly well to keep people either in line or outta here. Just don't get too wild when you're drinkin!

the site is cool.. bs forums are cool also, but with anything every post has to out do the next until it spirals out of control and then gets locked..

it is going to be impossible to fit everyones needs with a site.. hopefully everyone learnt a little somthing, move on ..

Id say the best way is to just send them a PM about what they did and why the post was deleted. then let the other mods know who was reprimanded and why. if the moron starts being stupid again, ban em.
