Need some help naming my new dog

heres a few I was thinking of, might be kinda cheesey, but hotrod, or turbo. I like windsor, but chris's dog is already named that. Clark wanted the name nawwzzzz, but doesnt really fit lol

while Im at it, anyone know how to get a dog to stay in his cage and go to sleep, granted its his first night here, but hes asleep on my lap right now, but he whimpers and barks if I dont sit next to the cage, n he pooped on his dog bed so thats outta the question

in his cage put a piece of your clothing that you where wearing and a clock on the outside of the cage so he can hear the ticking..he will not want to be away from you for awhile but it will get better...also during the day spend like 15-20mins away from him and then come back so he knows its ok to be alone

he's probably going to do it for a good week.... the ticking clock is an ole-timer's trick, and it didn't do a darn thing for my puppy..... I have a 16 month old Golden Retreiver, so i went through this not long ago... It started out that my g/f didn't want the puppy to be in our bedroom, so i crated her in the other bedroom, but she would not shut up... i'm pretty decent at just letting things go, but she would howl for 4+ hours and just never stop.... so we brought her into the bedroom next to me on my side of the bed... she would always whine a little right when we went to bed, but i'd stick my hand down by the cage and she'd lick my fingers and lay down - she just wanted to know i was still there...

It'll seem like an eternity, but it will only take a week or two to break him of the crying at night (typically).... after two nights my g/f wanted to give my pup back - lol... but she's great now...
