This I thought was kinda cool, remember when i said the highest HP car on my dyno was a stinking 4cyl that made 677hp, well, it was a friend/customers car that I helped tune, it came into my shop making 499hp and running low 10s on the motor and high 9s on a 100 shot, well they took it to the DSM shoot out and won the whole thing!!! It went 8.92 on the motor (turboed) with him hitting a 50 shot at around the 700' area... Congrats to the Early boys!!! I am trying to find a video...

to many mods to try and list, it has a glide in it, with a big turbo, i cant remember the #s, it is just crazy.. it make 38lbs of boost, and has an air to water cooler, electric water pump and all the goodies..

38 psi, The cylinder pressure at full boost has to be through the roof!

Do you know if his brother still has a quick car? I remember years ago when he had a 10 sec talon. and his brother had a painted bodykit 18s talon (looked good actually) that ran low 11s. Its refreshing to see a clean import make decent passes consistently.

Unfortunately I didnt go to the shootout this year so I missed it. Was at the showdown at Etown instead. Where kevin Kwiatowski won with an 8.90 pass (best pass was 8.4 @ 166) Its a fwd auto car. Unreal he cuts 1.2-1.3 sixty foots.

Now I know most of you dont care, But these are the reasons why I cant stop playing with them. I will at some point go boosted v8. But for now Im having fun with these things.
