Bullitt will always be way up on my list. Like it has been said, McQueen showed a lot of committment in his preparation for the chase scenes in the movie - gotta love that. Too bad he didn't live longer - he seemed like a really cool guy.
Another movie that almost nobody has seen - but that has great chase scenes and great racing is Last American Hero starring Jeff Bridges. I need to track down a copy sometime soon...

Hollywood Nights was great! Don't forget American Grafetti. Alot of up and comming acters in both of them.
I like car movies, new and old, I have a pretty descent collection of them as well.
Did anyone like Driven with Stalone in it? I liked it, but like I said, I like car movies.
...a pretty neat forum/site for it, plus the original car is still alive too, cool! I still believe I've never sat down n watched the Bullit movie the whole way thru. Maybe one day, but I can never get enough of that chase seen thou!!
