ok i got some questions about a pro charger im looking to buy, i hope someone can steer me in the right direction. the guy says it has 6 thousand miles on the charger. comes with the intercooler and all the piping for it. also the mounting bracket. he wants 1800$$ does that sound reasonable and if so what else will i be needing to install it? also what should i watch out for incase its worn out or not working properly?

well your gonna need to upgrade your fuel injectors you will need forged internals a tune for it and more stuff.
i have the sct live wire i can get custom tuned and the internals wont be a big deal i'll scatter it and buy a new block haha

If it's the self contained unit like the p1sc, then I agree with this. If it's an old style tap into the pan then you really can't go wrong with a procharger.IMO, buy a Vortech or Paxton. Not real fond of the reliability of the Por Chargers.
Its tough. Everyone has mixed opinions. I like the self contained units. If you go low boost your internals will be fine. You will need injectors fuel pump and maf. You would be crazy not to go for a tune. That price sounds fair. Get pics of the kit and if you need help with anything I'd be glad to help you. They are easy to install and make sure you get a intercooler. 6k miles seems like it should be in good shape. I've never heard anything bad about procharger paxton or vortech except the vortech does not come with a intercooler set up. You have to buy it separate. I think the paxton might be the same.
If its the p1sc Just keep your eye on the oil level. Keep extra oil with you.
