    Lowering?

Okay, well I know noone really knows me that well on here. But other mustang owners opinions count to me so I thought I would ask. I am planning on lowering the cobra this spring with either some Eibach sport springs, or the ford racing 5300B kit (460/570 lb/in). I was also going to get the BBK upper and lower control arm kit to hopefully compensate for the traction I would lose. What do you guys think? I want it to still hook up, but it rides like a freakin 4wd right about now.. Also does anyone know if I would need a caster/camber kit fot the front end after this? Thanks.

I recommend coil overs if it is in the budget. I lowered my stang with lowering springs first and it rode like a brick. I now run QA1 coil overs. I like them much better and you can adjust the ride height and the shock.

I got the eibach pro kit on mine. It lowers in just enough that its noticable but it rides nice and doesnt scrape everywhere

Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to go with the FRPP kit..I would get coilovers, but I'm just too poor for them.. Venom: How was your traction affected if at all after lowering? Does the car handle noticeably better? Thanks.

I really can't answer the traction thing well b/c I don't have any. :) I can't really see you losing that much traction due to stiffer springs. I dunno.

Does it handle better? Ehhh. It's firm...very. In my case its more for looks than handling.
