My friends and I have talked about this for years. It definitely is. The season of 9/11, the patriots won the superbowl with a rookie quarterback (their colors are red white and blue obviously). Once the heavy rumor came out about halfway through the '05 season that Jerome Bettis; top 8 running back of all time, was retiring, the Steelers went on a winning streak, got the 6th seed, and won the super bowl in Detriot, and Jerome retired on stage holding the trophy.
