Had to have the roof repaired and painted. All the chassis work was starting to rust so I had that done too...

The original plan was to just use VHT Roll Bar Satin Black. The body shop ended up doing an epoxy base first, then hit it with the rattle cans. It needs gone over with some more VHT and I don't like the texture the epoxy created...but it will be fine...

Finally got a little bit in on the car last week. Not much but hopefully this is the start of working on it a little bit at a time! This year is obviously out, I would have to shut the shop down to get it down the track in time, not worth it IMO.

I had to pull some of the motor back apart so I decided to have Collins PC powder coat the valve covers, engine front cover and the main blower bracket to match my suspension and axle housing. Me likey

Nothing special, just your typical off the shelf parts mod motor.

Put the wiring back in the car as well as the dash, just need to paint and install my air bag delete on the passenger side. I also got the holes covered up in the firewall thanks to Scott Rod Fab! Very nice pieces that fit perfectly, he even included matching rivets! I left the protective coating on the pieces pictured for now. All the HVAC and clutch holes are covered up and I also have front and rear inner fender skirts for later on. Not trying to build a show car but it should look pretty sweet when it's all said and done

Props to Scott Rod Fab, good dude and good products
