    My buddy's 65 GTO

    We went out this past sunday, 8/23, after the car show we went to and had some fun. It's got a built 400 with 3 dueces, we're supposed to be taking it to Rodeheaver's this sat. morning for thier dyno day. See what you think. Oh yeah, you'll hear my gf choking from the smoke and giggeling as well, she had a blast!

    Always had a thing for old goats. I love the lopey idle. The problem with youtube is there's no smell-o-vision...I watch those and think yeah this is great, but I need the exhaust and burning tires to make it complete!!!

    Makes me miss my 67 lemans I brought home from the state of Ca. Had a 400 in it and would move pretty well. Sure makes me want another one, as I have been thinking of the next car I want to get. Was really looking for a 68-69 chevelle shell to work with. Sure is a nice car give me a pm sat since I dont live to faar maybe I will take a ride down and check it out.

    Badass videos! No traction control, no torque management, no abuse mode...just horsepower, torque, and shredded tires!

    Not too many people with clean '65 GTO's are willing to have fun like that- very cool.

    Sweet I love to see old muscle doing a good burn-out.

    He can't possibly have any tread left on those tires.

    He defenately has a bad ride. He's redone the entire car himself, I don't think there's a nut or bolt he hasn't touched at least once. He's even done the body and paint, interrior, pretty much everything. So he really knows his car and isn't afraid to play in it.
    He really killed his tires! There's enough to finish the summer off as long as he doesn't do too many more burn outs. The bad thing is they're red lines, and they're not to cheap.
    It was alot of fun, even more for me since it's not mine, he's the one buying the tires!! LOL!!

    Oh it's loud!! It gets louder when it's uncapped. The mufflers he has on it may as well not be there, they're about 6-8 inches long with I guess it's a round baffle in it, you can see straight through them when he has them off. He does have another exhaust he bolts up occasionally that's a bit quiter, but that doesn't happen too often.

    It did like 390hp to the ground and 480ish torque I think it was. Was a pretty sweet car.
