    Evo Vs. PI swapped 98

    I ran a white evo the other day on 22 from a light outside of Murrysville. He pulled about a length on me out of the hole and i was starting to reel him in when we had to let off. I think with some new tires and better driving (i only drive the car a few times a month and it's WAY different than mine) it would have been a better race.

    1998 GT- PI swap, 3.73's, off road h pipe, flows & some suspension goodies

    White 1986 GT T-Tops- BBK shorties, RAM clutch/flywheel, Bassani catted x pipe, MSD ignition, MAC cai, LMM lowering springs, adjustable skocks & struts, MGW short throw, DD

    Black 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6- custom levers, -1 front sprocket, Jardine GP-1 exhaust, HIDs, custom undertail, custom black windscreen.

    What's the HP of a PI swapped 98??
    In my old 2003 Mach 1 I would run my buddy's EVO 8 and he would pull on me on the street regardless of gear.
    I'd beat him at the 1/4 every time though.

    thats the biggest problem with stangs on the street is getting them to stick, we were out the other night in a 12 sec and a 13 sec stang and the 12 second car could kill the 13 sec car becuasr the 12sec car had good posi while the 13sec car had open wheel and sat there smoking the tire off...

    i'm not positive about the HP numbers, i think i heard around 275? But that could be wrong. The swap was finished about a month ago so it hasn't been dynod yet

    another reason is also probably because 12 seconds is faster than 13 seconds LOL :)

    I had a 97 P.I. Stang with other bolt ons. and my buddy had a 96 cobra with exhaust and intake and he couldn't pull me.
