    Anybody know Chad Miller?

He is from Uniontown and his '89 blue GT was in 5.0 showcase this month. Looks decent. Cage and all with a high HP 347.

I know him. He's a pretty good guy and a buddy of mine built the car for him. The car is really sick in person. I've never heard or seen it run, but it's supposed to haul. They were hoping for 9 sec time slips.

I know both Chad and the car pretty well. Chad is a good guy with some badass cars. The blue GT is absolutely wicked though. Don't know the exact #, but it put down close to 700 at the wheels on a safe tune. If my memory is correct its capable to handle 30/31 lbs of boost, and the dyno tune was done at mid 20's lbs of boost. The car is also very well built and isn't some hacked up racecar. Alot of time and money was put into it to make it "right". He also just got rid of a big block fox that was pretty bad and I believe it was a 10 second ride.

I have been trying to get him to be a member but haven't had much luck.

They're supposed to be doing a full feature on his car in an upcoming issue of Muscle Mustangs. I talked with the guy who built it the other night and he was telling how long the process is to get your car in there. The photo shoot was something like 3 hours long and there was miles of paperwork.

That sounds about right. The longest part is the wait for it to make it into print. Unless it falls in a category that they are doing a special on, count on it taking a minimum of 6 months to over a year. I had two friends shot for MMFF and they both had to be re-shot as so much time had passed from when they were originally shot and the cars changed so much that they needed re-shot or the info was all wrong. I think the entire process was 2+yrs for them both.

My features took approximately 6-7 months, and that was for both 5.0 Mustang and Mustang Enthusiast. My dad's took 10 months for 5.0, and I think yeahloh95's took over a year for 5.0. It comes down to what they can fit and what other years are being covered in the same issue. The quickest features used to be for Modified Mustangs when they only did late models, but since they cover all years now I don't know how quickly it is all handled.
