For some reason today I got to thinking about all these crazy past times. I'm sure everybody has a small thing or even a major thing that they have been around for or seen. Some of us younger guys might have a little shorter of a list but we have a list at that!

Just post something up that you remember from when you were younger!

I remember spinning a dial to make a phone call. I also remember when 99% of cars on the road had little emissions equipment from the factory. I remember when PA first had Emissions testing in the early 80's. I remember Meineke not having a problem with catalytic converter removal too. I remember leaded gas, no bar codes, no cable TV, no computers, no nutritional info on food, etc. The list goes on.

I remember Star wars and smokey and the Bandit being major films to watch. I remember the first muscle car I ever road in was my dad's 77 firebird with a 400 in it and crane fireball cam dome pistons and you could run pump gas cause it actualy had lead and octane to support it. Course then I was hooked on hotrods ever since. How about the first atari that was kick ass "Space invaders" "Pac man".

I remember having to actually get off my a$$ to change the TV channel. And when the station selector broke and/or stripped, having to use a pair of pliers to reach in and change channels.

How about penny candy counters and soda fountain counters?

I remember the first color tv my parents bought. Not long after that Elvis Presley's concert was on live from Hawaii, we even had the neighbors and thier kids over to watch it. We were the only ones with color, so it was a big deal!
Adding to whay Mike said, I remember regular gas actually being regular, not low grade unleaded.
