I'm drinking WINE right now. It's box-o-wine which is actually bag-o-wine if you tear the box apart. It's Chiraz. I think it's good. Somebody help me. I have BEER in the fridge. I didn't run out or anything.

    HELP!

Very good but HopSlam and Nugget Nectar is still my favorites! But they're seasonal beers so Hop Wallop, which is brewed all year long now is my "off season" IPA of choice!

I go in spurts on Wine. I'll bump in to a wine I really like and start down that path. Usually ends up with a box 'o wine in the fridge, then back to mother beer. It's just a phase, it will pass, or else we will call you girl names too ;)

when it debuted, it was only the cheapie companies, but some of the better brands are boxing it now. Corbett Canyon and Black Box are very good. do some research plus it costs like 15 bux for 3 liters which is 4 bottles. It's just stupid to pay $10-$12 per 750ml bottle. not like it's going to go bad around here.

Okay Nancy, enough with the wine in the beer thread (unless we can start over with Alcohol in general, then we need to talk Tequila :D)

Some valid points here. I guess I was just turned off to it at an early age so I just like buying the better stuff.

Tequila is nasty. If you're going to talk liquor, then it's Vodka all the way!

I was doing a lot of work in China a few years ago. The only thing there is to do there nights / weekends is drink to excess to forget what you have seen in the "facities", during the days, and the frustration of getting anything done. The problem is, the beer is actually pretty weak, so you will get absolutely full to the point of not being able to drink any more before getting anything close to a good drunk on. During one of my stints there, 4 weeks turned into 6, then 8, finally 9 weeks. Sometime during that I started on tequila and became close friends.

Vodka's not my game, something about the better it is, the less taste it has or something ;)

tequila? vodka? there are so many different variants of these beverages it's not even funny. I like to stick to the basics: bourbon, scotch and rum.

if peeps start talking "shots", good 'ole Jim Beam is the only way to go.

give me four fingers of Dewars and an ice cube and it's lights out.

and if you wanna get really stupid, diet coke and Captain... hence Rum and Dumb !!!

You seem to have a lot of "these episodes" maybe you should leave the drinking to the experts?
