    kenne bell!

ok so i bit the bullet ordered the 2.1 kenne bell kit. installed it last night and finished it up today. i go to fill the car with antifreeze and find it leaking all over. so i investigate, on the passenger side of the intake manifold on the rear coolant port of the head is about half open??? the kenne bell intake doesnt cover the entire port? i am guessing they either forgot to send a block off plate of some sort or sent me the wrong charger. anyone else ever run into this or hear of this problem? im jacked.....especially having to wait till tuesday for answers.

Mine looks exactly the same man it's just the way it fits. I'm not leaking, I think you have other issues cause the pics look just like mine!

i highly doubt that is correct. i have the 1.7 so mine could be slightly different, but mine def does not look like that. call kenne bell and see what they say. if coolant is coming out of that whole there is def a problem

man it honestly looks like either the gasket moved during installation or the manifold is on to far forward. if it was me I would pull the blower assembly off and start over. it has to be a misalignment issue.

this right here is why i say its an alignment issue. mine sits flush w/ the front of the engine.

Yours is foward just a bit but mine is a 1.7l... But still like I said last night I think you just have something tweaked a little.. Check that valley tube and make sure it isnt holding the blower up enuf that it isnt sealing..

the p1000 is nothing, it is usually on when the light is off... the other code could be from a vaccum leak on teh drivers side of the engine, or it could be just in need of a tune.. either way i wouldnt beat on it till everythings fixed..

Snap another pic now that is running so we can see how it fits because the pics you posted is not even close to fitting right. I see a coolant passage and a lower intake port (blue gasket seal) clear as day.
