    New pic of my Mustang

Pulled into the former Century III Dodge on Rt. 51 and snapped this pic.

Who owns that place now ? There were 3 Ferrari's in the showroom.

Thanks for the positive comments guys.

jaa55, I doubt that was me. I rarely ever travel Rt. 28.

    New plans for the car....
Repulley my little A trim with a 3.12 pulley for about 8#'s of boost.
I have the pulley, just bought an LMAF, 36# injectors, and an SCT switch chip.
Still need to buy a 255 fuel pump and then get it tuned.
    Should be fun.

Those 36's wont be enough. You will have to crank the hell out of your fuel pressure to get anything out of it. Then you will be flirting with duty cycle.

    Car looks great though.

Wick, I played around with a few different injector calculators and at 80% duty cycle and a BSFC of 0.6, a 36# injector will support 384 hp.

I expect to make 6-8 #'s of boost, probably closer to 6#. With my GT40 topend I'm expecting 350 - 375 hp. Even if I exceed that hp number, I figure the worst that can happen is the duty cycle gets bumped up to 85-90%. Still safe ?

I'll be changing head units in a year or so and will upgrade the injectors when I get a more efficient head unit.

To sum up what I wrote, dont get a tune yet, save your pennies and get 60lb injectors. Then buy a different tuning device like quarterhorse or twEECer or even a stand alone. Unless you dont plan on changing anything ever. If you do change, you will have $500+ in your initial tune, them each tune after that will cost you atleast $300. Do the math, it adds up real fast and puts you way over the cost of a self tuning device. You just need a tuner person of your choice to get you going then the rest is up to you for any changes after that. Check out www.eectuning.org Great site and full of helpful info on different tuning methods. I am speaking from about $1500 worth of tuning and re-tunes here. I should have just spent the money the first time and been done. 36's are not the best choice for you unless you dont plan to make any power and want good down low driveability. You will need to bump base pressure up a good bit and it will suffer tremendousley. Bucking will be present for sure. Not sure who you want to tune for you but I can say Lund gave me awesome driveability. I just maxed my system out before 4000 and need to do it again. But I can lug the car down to 1300-1400 without bucking and its silky smoothe!!! Dave Guy gave me a ton of power but driveability sucked with the old combo. That said, I wouldnt waste time until you get everything in place and do it right the first time. You will be kicking yourself in the but if you dont.

Just to add one more thing, on a stock top end minus intake and 13-14 PSI boost, I made 397.66/397.71 all at 5500ish. I also had 44lb injectors and a 60% duty cycle. The cam was a tfs 1 and a systemax intake. Stock heads. My buddy has the GT 40 heads and a systemax intake with an "F" cam and made 460+ with the same 36's you have. But his down low sucked cause of the pressure required to get the power.

Maybe I'm underestimating the power I'll make ? It's never been on a dyno, but I'm guessing with iron GT40's and GT40 intake and stock cam it's around 250-270 ? Add the A trim at 6#'s and 350-375 seems right ?

I guess I won't know until I get it on a dyno. Should have made a run last week when I was down at Rodeheavers for the dyno day.

The GT-40 and "F" cam combe was between 6 and 8 PSI. You may be underestimating it for sure. It was with an SC trim blower too. I think that and yours are VERY similar almost identical.
