Actually, No. I did REALLY learn some things about tire pressure and air bag settings out there. It's still a 330' wonder ;)
If i don't keep breaking it to get it sorted ;)
Yes, Bob had a really rough weekend too. It was nice however, when we went to take his straps back, that we both could smile. This really was a great weekend in spite of the trouble some of us had. this is really what refreshes drag racing for me.

I think the turnout was okay. Pits where pretty full. all the heads up classes seemed filled, bracket classes where average. There where usually a few more cars in the back field than this year, but the paved areas and up the return road where more packed. I would say it was a nice field. Car show looked thin but I only walked by a few times and was more interested in race cars ;)
yea it was a good time. my buddy in his lightning was able to make it pretty far in the bracket 3 until he redlighted.. And a gasket problem left the fast car in the pits but was still able to get a few runs in
Sorry I missed you when you cruised through the hotel Scott. I was pretty beat that night after all the time change. I came out later and Larry said you where around.

A buddies TR6 (Dale) with 2.3 Turbo Ford. This is a 10.80 car in good conditions, was running 11 flat most of the weekend. Red lit and lifted on this pass. I wish my car accelerated like his.

Yeah, should of met up sometime, kind of forgot you where out there ;)
I pulled the rear appart tonight. Drivers side, side gear was trash. Cross pin was broke right inside the carrier on the opposite side of the retaining bolt. Amazing that the retaining bolt came out in one piece. Probably the best clue to what is going on with my rears ... The ears that engage the carrier on two of the three drivers side clutches where ripped clean off and the third was mangled. I think the clutches are failing and loading the side gears causing my failures.
I have always ket to the stock pack for the clutches as I beleive the steel gets over heated with the alternate loading. Now I think the 4th clutch might be better for loading.
At this point i'm going to throw a mini spool in it and try to finish a few races this year and then build a good rear over the winter.
