Friday night. I drive to Indiana county fair. Car is fine all the way there and I park. I start it up push in the clutch and the cable pops off the pedal. We managed to get it back on and drive home with no problems. I tightened the cable saturday and went back up that night. I go to leave and the cable came off again.
Any suggestions as to what is wrong?

What is the quadrant? It has a billet aluminum half moon on the pedal. Also has a Summit brand cable on it. The adjustment is made on the clutch fork.
That'd be it. I was going to say the stock ones are plastic and can wear away causing the cable to pop off. Thats what happened to mine. But since you already have an aluminum one, I don't think it would be that.Originally Posted by sinful rides

is the end of the quadrant screwed up? it shouldnt be able to come out of there if a little tension on the cable
