    FS/FT: 1986 GT 4k OBO

I've been tossing around the idea of selling my 86 GT and getting into either an SN95 cobra or an 01 cobra. (I'd like a termi but they're just out of my league right now) So, while thinking about this I started wondering what i could expect to get out of it. I know the market isn't good for the seller but i'm just testing the waters. Here's some info about the car:

    -White/Black exterior
    -Red Interior
    -just turned 92,000 miles
-kentucky car, so extremely minimal rust
    -MAC cai
-Bassani mid pipe with high flow cats
    -BBK shorties
-KYB gas adjust shocks (low miles)
-LMM Platinum series lowering springs (low miles)
    -MGW short throw
    -MSD cap, rotor, coil, wires
    -Steeda clutch quadrant & cable
    -Ram clutch & steel flywheel
    -20% tint

Asking 4000 obo. Now open to trades, let me know what you have.

Yeh, but the road noise of the t-tops and dripping pisses me off. I either want to get them fixed right (which is damn near impossible) or get me a super clean cobra and then find another fox in the future. Even if i do sell it, i won't be foxless for long

Someone knowledgeable about foxes please chime in. Would 4k be too much to ask?

I was going to suggest 4k, then you posted this.

It's hard to find these cars in nice shape and that are not all whooped up on, sounds like a nice car.

I just talked to a guy with a 90 LX coup with stock 302, 120k miles, full exhaust and fresh paint and he said he wants 8k MINIMUM. I think he's out of his mind.

no im not saying it is

What im saying if your desperate to get rid of it advertise at a low price. If youre willing to sit on it for awhile you might get alot more out of it.

I would think winter coming is going to hurt any mustang sales at the time....

I'm in no way, shape, or form in a hurry to get rid of it. I'd like to fix the t tops, do h/c/i and a mild turbo kit and come out the other side at around 450-500hp. But i can't find ANYONE who will mess with the t tops and i don't have the cash for the engine work. haha Guess i'll just sit on it and either A)wait for someone who will pay a good price for it or B) Do the engine work/t top stuff when i get the money. The longer i hold onto it the nicer it's going to be and the more attached i'm becoming.

If anyone knows of someone looking for a nice ttop 5.0 feel free to contact me

yea, have you tried new weather stripping.. And i can tell you this from experience that if you have your mind on def wanting to do something take your time and do it and dont get something else cause you would sorta like to have one. I have done this twice already and find myself doing it all over again cause i thought i would like something else.. And depending on what type of h/c/i you were wanting it could be cheaper than you think. especially if you only want 450-500 with a turbo on it
