check engine light

Hey guys,

Not sure if I posted this in the right section. My check engine light keeps coming on for a few days, then go off for a day or so then come back on. Ive noticed that it will turn off when im driving at night when the air is cool.


So how do I pull the codes or figure out whats going on? It does have a power drain or anything when its on.

any help would be much appricated!

ehh I had bad experences with Autozone and Advance on the part of the employees lack IQ.


If there is no way to screw it up, ill go and have them pull it.

but seriously all they have to do is plug it in the obd2 port and let the tool do the work, i dont see how they could eff up giving you the code..lol..

I can almost guarentee were there is a will there is a way. Something designed to be dumbass proof put in the hands of a dumbass, well, nature will find a way.

Just do it yourself. They let me take it and pull my own codes before I picked up the X3.

so on my way down 70 the other night my dash light goes out I lost the tach. light and half of the gaudges. I kept driving, the kicked back on. No engine light and its running better than ever.

Strange.
